WHAT IS IDOLEM HOT YOGA?
Hot yoga is a very physical discipline that involves deep muscle work that can result in more definition, among other benefits. Hot yoga is great for everyone, including men. It is definitely a physical challenge. Hatha Yoga provides a foundation of postures, and with this foundation as a base, we grant our teachers the freedom to instruct their own style and apply their own teaching experience. Yoga is for people of all ages and all levels. Every posture stretches and reinforces the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints, which prepares the body for the next posture. Hot Yoga also stimulates the body’s organs, glands, and nerves. You are constantly sending fresh oxygen throughout your entire body, which has a positive effect on all the body’s systems, including the nervous, digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory, hormonal and excretory systems. Each class generally includes four phases: Savasana: Begin each class in a relaxation position, lying on your back with palms facing up towards the sky and feet slightly spread. This is the moment to let go of the concerns of the external world and to grant yourself the gift of focusing on your own well-being. We open the practice with a sun salutation, which stimulates the cardiovascular system and awakens the body. We then move into a sequence of standing postures. These open up the hips, stretch out the spinal cord and work the abdominal muscles. We then move into to a series of exercises on the floor which, among many other benefits, can help to alleviate lower back pain and knee problems and help with improving our posture. Final Savasana: We finish off the class by lying back down on our mats and relaxing, while we congratulate our body for all of its effort and allow ourselves to enjoy this moment of well-being. This is a challenging form of physical exercise, but there is no need to be nervous about trying it. Your sense of well-being afterward will be your greatest reward.
