Hello,my name is Isabelle Bourbeau, owner of Studio Idolem Roussillon and supported by my spouse and accomplice Daniel Pelletier. I evolved in the field of aeronautics and metrology during the last 15 years. Having been co-founder of a climbing center on the south shore, my personality combines a cartesian side but also a very artistic one, I like creating, discovering, and learning. Daniel and I have the for love of sports in common and when Daniel saw me putting so much love and passion into this yoga studio project, which I call my second home, he immediately said yes and became an accomplice in this great achievement. Coming from a family of athletes and for some of them at very high levels (Which I am proud of), I have always had a competitive spirit and I have practiced sliding sports in this spirit, until at the end of my adolescence, as much in winter as in summer. Later in my life, in 2014 to be precise, I discovered hot yoga through the Bikram plateau studio which we now know to be the Idolem Plateau studio. I loved the benefits in terms of my flexibility, and the endorphins that followed my practice brought me a feeling of well-being. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury slowed me down and forced me to rethink my activities. I had to find a way to keep flexibility and strength in my muscles and joints. Yoga has helped me greatly on this level and in a mental and spiritual way. In 2016, I decided to improve my knowledge by taking my teacher training. I taught until 2019. Now, Co-creator of this studio with my lover and partner in crime Daniel Pelletier (newly retired from the MTL fire department), we want to welcome you to a warm Studio in the colors of the Idolem family with a tint of our colored energy!
