Hello! I am Audrée Laferrière, soon to be the owner of a new Idolem studio based in Sainte-Dorothée! The project is also supported by my long-time friend, Éléonore Jarry-Ferron.We met during our bachelor’s degree in accounting at HEC Montreal in 2011 and we quickly became friends. Having highly complementary personalities and a common entrepreneurial sense, we participated in several competitions and event stogether. It is through our common travels, particularly in Costa Rica, that we have developed a common passion for yoga. Yoga is central to our friendship and helps keep us centered in our careers and lives as young professional women. I have a professional background in financing and commercial restructuring.My background and professional experience made me want to take part in the economic development of Laval on a personal basis and open an Idolem studio there. Indeed, we want to create a yoga studio where people can come not only to practice yoga, but also to be in great company, to feel good, and to exchange inharmony. We want people to find the same feeling that we have during groupclasses; a family moment where everyone watches over each other. We want to make a real difference in our community. Being both passionate about physical and psychological well-being as well as personal development, we wanted to find a project that would offer us a related lifestyle and allow us to help people in our community live a more balanced life. Idolem and us is a perfect match!
